PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling efficiency of a gas chromatograph oven by providing an internally opening type intake for the gas chromatograph oven and a method for obtaining the same to obtain a more rapid cycle time and sample treatment quantity. SOLUTION: The internally opening type intake for the gas chromatograph oven is equipped with an intake duct and the movable intake flap operably connected to the intake duct. The intake flap is arranged so as to be rather positioned in the oven when set to an open definite position and opened to the interior of the oven at a flap angle for forming a low region for taking in an air stream into the oven from the intake duct.
