PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mixing a liquid/liquid multiphase stream, which method can markedly improve mixability in a phase-separated mixture comprising a plurality of liquids having different densities. SOLUTION: The liquid/liquid multiphase stream mixing method for mixing a phase-separated mixture comprising a plurality of liquids of different densities is a method comprising, in the mixture, forming a continuous phase from lower density liquids, forming a disperse phase from higher density liquids, circulating the mixture through a downward passage which circulates the mixture downwardly, circulating the mixture having circulated through the downward passageway through an upward passage which circulates the mixture upwardly, and causing the phase reversion of the mixture in a communication passage between the downward and upward passages.
