<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing rotor core of a rotary electric machine and a manufacturing apparatus in which a blank material 6 can be wound up with good accuracy, resulting in the improved circularity of a shaft hole. <P>SOLUTION: When a blank material 6 is supplied to a winding-up apparatus, an inner guide 13 is inserted into the notch 4 of the blank material 6, and an outer guide 12 is inserted into a slot 2. The inner guide 13 and the outer guide 12 are turnable together with a core metal 11 in one piece by a turnable mechanism. Thereby, the blank material is guided by the inner guide 13 and the outer guide 12, undergoes plastic deformations in the turnable direction (winding-up direction) of the core metal 11, while the radial position is restricted, and is wound up by the core metal 11. By the use of the method, deformation loads do not concentrate on a protruding piece 7 of the blank material 6, and buckling and deformation, or overlapping or other faults do not take place. As a result, the circularity of the shaft hole formed at the inner side of the protruding piece 7 can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
