<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cab tilt device of a cab-over-engine truck capable of properly using full stroke and halfway stoppage of a tilt-up by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: An extending and contracting means 10 is engaged with a chassis frame 11 and a cab member 12z by one end of a cylinder tube 1 and the other end of a rod extended from a piston in the cylinder tube 1. One end of a stopper lever 3 is engaged with the rod side. A locking part 3a formed in the stopper lever 3 and a locking means (stopper 4) provided in the cylinder tube 1 are engaged to limit extending and contracting of the extending and contracting means 10. The locking part 3a of the stopper lever 3 is formed to be engaged to a locking means 4 of the cylinder tube 1 at a halfway position of stroke of the extending and contracting means 10. An engagement preventing member 5 for preventing engagement at the halfway position is provided.
