<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas leak detector capable of suppressing the reduction of an electrolyte during operation not only to prevent errorneous detection or operation failure but also to sharply reduce the replenishing frequency of the electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: A humidification unit 17 is provided on the way of the gas sampling pipe 4 of the gas leak detector 1 as a humidification means for humidifying a sampling gas 2 and constituted of a water storage part 18 for storing pure water, a heating part 19 for heating the water storage part 18 and a humidification port 21 for humidifying the sampling gas with steam 20 generated from the water storage part 18. Further, a partition plate 22 is provided between the water storage part 18 and the humidification part 21 and a large number of small holes 23 are formed to the partition plate 22. Furthermore, a heat insulating material 24 comprising foamed urethane, silicone foam or the like is provided to the peripheries of the gas sampling pipe 4 and a gas duscharge pipe 6 as a heat insulating means for preventing the temperature effect from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
