PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify the break-in point of attack into a network quickly through a simple system arrangement. SOLUTION: The break-in point specifying system comprises a plurality of first network units provided in the boundary of an external network and a network to be defended, and a plurality of second network units being provided with communication information introduced to the network to be defended. Each first network unit has a means for introducing communication information from the external network to the network to be defended while adding identification information inherent to its own unit. Each second network unit has a means for detecting communication information of attack, and a break-in point specifying means for specifying a first network unit which has introduced the communication information of attack into the network to be defended based on the identification information imparted to a detected attack.
