PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL device with high yield, preventing the corrosion of metal wiring at a wet etching treatment of an ITO. SOLUTION: Of the organic EL display device, a display region with a plurality of organic EL elements, and a sealing member disposing region A, where sealing members 30, 40 for sealing the above EL elements between substrates are disposed, are arranged on the substrate 20, and conducting parts 102 for supplying given potentials or signals to the organic EL element are arranged from outside the sealing member disposing region over the display region, and further, the organic display device is provided with a flattened film 400 flattening an arrangement region of the organic EL elements formed within the display region, and a connection layer 105 made in contact with an end part of the flattened film and arranged at least at the sealing member disposing region and on the conducting parts outside the sealing member disposing region, with the sealing members arranged on the connection layer.
