PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission of data streams from being interrupted even if a DHCP server has seceded from a network for some reasons. SOLUTION: A digital video camcorder (DVCR) 200 and a digital video television (DTV) 300 each acquire an IP address on the basis of a function of the DHCP server 100 (access point). While the DVCR 200 is transmitting video streams as image pickup images to the DTV 300, when the DVCR 200 requests the DHCP server 100 to update the IP address, if the DHCP server 100 has seceded from the UPnP network, the transmission of streams is continued while maintaining the previous IP address.
