PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of dealing with a transition schedule of new and old control carriers and incapable of searching the old control carrier after or later the transition completion of the control carriers (in case that only the new control carrier exists). SOLUTION: Control carrier transfer completion is determined on the basis of the present time and the date of the control carrier transfer completion, and carrier search corresponding to this determination result is selected.
