PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of combining a plurality of input and output documents and dealing with the documents as one document. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a CPU 108 for applying image processing to input image data consisting of image data obtained from any one of a scanner 101, an image memory 112, a compressed data storing memory 103, a modem NCU unit 111, and a network control unit 110 to generate output image data; and then executing a control software to deliver the output image data to at least any one of the unit 110, the unit 111, the memory 103, the image memory 112, and a plotter 102. The CPU 108 combines a module for controlling a generating source of image data as base of the input image data with a module for controlling the image processing means, and processes as one module.
