TELEPHONE UNIT, DIAL INPUT NUMBER COMPLEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify dial operation and to prevent erroneous input of telephone number and erroneous input operation of telephone number. SOLUTION: Digits of a telephone number inputted from an input unit 1 are stored additionally in an output information storage section 31. Using that number as a key, a candidate telephone number is searched from a telephone number storage section 32 by partial consistency and a hit telephone number is stored in a search result storage section 33. An additional information searching section 23 searches additional information corresponding to a telephone number stored in the search result storage section 33 from an additional information storage section 34 and hit additional information is stored in the search result storage section 33. The telephone number and additional information thus obtained are arranged in screen display format at a searched information display processing section 23 before being delivered to an output unit 4 and displayed.
