PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device and electronic equipment capable of suppressing display unevenness in such a configuration that a plurality of selecting signal lines intersect with video signal lines. SOLUTION: Signal lines X1 to Xn are blocked to blocks #1 to #174 with six signal lines as one block. A signal line driving circuit 34 is equipped with sample-hold transistors 50 provided at signal lines X1 to Xn and for writing data signals to pixels when selecting signalsϕ1 toϕ6 are applied to gates. In the signal line driving circuit 34, six inverted selecting signal lines 71 to 76 which intersect with the video signal lines x1 to xn respectively are provided. Inverted selecting signals /ϕ1 to /ϕ6 which the selecting signalsϕ1 toϕ6 applied to the selecting signal lines 61 to 66 are inverted are applied to each inverted signal line. Noise caused by line intersection capacity at each intersection between the selecting signal line and the video signal line is cancelled by noise caused by the line intersection capacity at each intersection between the inverted selecting signal line and the video signal line.
