PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security mode setup method or a security system capable of enhancing the security precision of a whole building under the consideration of usability for a person who uses a specific security section. SOLUTION: A detecting device for detecting the abnormality of each security section is set, and a mode setting device for setting a plurality of independent security sections and a specific security section and a general common security section in a security mode and a security release mode is set. When all the independent security sections and the specific security section are set in the security mode by the mode setting device, the general common security section and the specific shared security section are set in the security mode. When the specific security section is set in the security release mode, the general shared security section is set in the security mode, and the specific shared security section is maintained in the security release mode.
