METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLASS CLOTH HAVING SIDE EDGE PART STUCK WITH RESIN AND AQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR OBTAINING THE GLASS CLOTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass cloth, with which fray at the side edge part of the glass cloth is prevented and occurrence of bleeding is prevented while using an aqueous composition. SOLUTION: The method for producing a glass cloth having a pair of opposing side edge parts stuck with a resin comprises a process for sticking an aqueous composition obtained by dissolving or dispersing a carboxy group-containing polyurethane and an oxazoline group-containing compound to be reacted with the polyurethane to form a resin in water to a pair of the opposing side edge parts of the glass cloth to form an adhesion part, a process for heating the applied aqueous composition to 150-230°C to form a resin at the adhesion part and a process for removing the adhesion part equipped with the resin with leaving a part of the adhesion part.
