METHOD OF HARDENING OF THERMOPLASTIC RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of hardening of a thermoplastic resin by which the emission of volatile organic substances (VOC) upon hardening is controlled while maintaining the hardening characteristics of the thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: The method of hardening of a thermoplastic resin comprises hardening the thermoplastic resin by adding 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a phosphite to 100 pts.wt. of the resin. The thermoplastic resin used in this method is an unsaturated polyester resin or a vinyl ester resin.
