PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon installing method for an endoscope device and the endoscope device, for easily fixing a balloon, by fitting a presser ring in an engaging part, while engaging an end part of the balloon with the engaging part formed on an outer peripheral surface of an insertion part. SOLUTION: The engaging part 100 is formed in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion part 12, and the presser ring 110 is fitted in this engaging part 100. In installation work of the balloon 42, first of all, the end part of the balloon 42 is engaged with the engaging part 100, and the presser ring 110 is fitted in and fixed to the engaging part 100 in its state.
