PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catering system monitoring storage states of catering carts at night or the like, and when a trouble occurs, notifying persons concerned of the trouble. SOLUTION: The catering carts 40A-40D disposing trays set with foods into a plurality of partitioned chambers and stored in a storage place in customer facilities 20 for a predetermined time while performing refrigeration as necessary are mounted with temperature sensor units measuring the temperatures in the carts with temperature sensors respectively. The temperature sensor unit transmits measured data of the temperature to a controller 21 according to a transmission request of the controller 21. The controller 21 determines the occurrence/non-occurrence of the trouble in the catering carts 40A-40D based on the measured data received from the temperature sensor units, and when determining the occurrence of the trouble, notifies a monitoring device 11 of a monitoring center 10 the trouble.
