Belt buckle (10) comprises a frame (12) connected at one end to a belt-fixing device (14) for fixing a belt end (16) to the frame, and a pin (22) attached via two pin bearings (18) to the frame and connected to a fixing protrusion (32) so that in a closed position it interacts with engagement elements on the other belt end for removable fixing of the belt end.
