<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braid breaking apparatus for preventing a strand from being bent in a crank shape when a punching is pressed between the braid and a core wire. <P>SOLUTION: The braid breaking apparatus 10 inserts the braid 13 into a dice with an outer blade 15A while the cylindrical braid 13 covers an outer circumference of the core wire 12, presses the punching 16 with an inner blade 16A between the braid 13 and the core wire 12, puts the braid 13 between the punching 16 and the dice 15, and cuts the braid 13 by the punching 16 and both blades 16A, 15A of the dice 15. The braid breaking apparatus 10 has a chamfer 18A on an outer circumferential corner at an end 18 so as to prevent the strand 17 as a component of the braid 13 from hanging at the end 18 of the punching 16 and being bent in a crank shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
