<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encasing box that allows its contents to be stably retained even at a place involving rocking or vibrating. <P>SOLUTION: The encasing box comprises an inner case (2) slidably provided in an outer case (1) that has an opening portion (1e) to be fixed on an object on which to be fitted, the inner case being capable of housing contents, a biasing means (a large spring 4), disposed between the inner case and the outer case, which biases the inner case in the direction of the opening portion, a latch means (a latch 5) that locks the inner case against the outer case in counter to the biasing means, and a retainer 7 that is capable of holding the contents so that they are prevented from shifting inside the inner case, while the encasing box is so constituted that the guide channel (1i) of a guide (1h) provided in the outer case guides the retainer that is mounted onto the inner case by means of a shaft, thereby rotating the retainer, causing the arm portion (7c) of the retainer to ingress inside of the inner case, thus the contents are retained.
