PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder-by-cylinder cylinder head temperature control mechanism of a multi-cylinder engine for effectively uniformizing the internal temperature of combustion chambers between the cylinders of a multi-cylinder engine. SOLUTION: This cylinder head temperature control mechanism cooling the cylinder head 25 of the multi-cylinder engine by a coolant comprises a plurality of temperature measuring means 1 measuring the temperatures of the cylinder heads 25 at the tops of the cylinders, a plurality of coolant jetting mechanisms jetting the coolant to the cylinder heads 25 at the tops of the cylinders, and a control means 4 (and 5) controlling the coolant mechanism 2 for each cylinder based on the detected values of the temperature measuring means 1.
