PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch lock which can be adapted to a case requiring locking and a case not requiring locking. SOLUTION: A main body 7, which is to be mounted on a door 4, is provided with a storage part 6 wherein an opening 3 for operation and a through-hole 5 are opened in a communicating state. The latch lock is provided with: a latch part 10 which has a part 9 to be latched to a locking part 8 urged in the direction of protruding outward and sideward from the through-hole 5 of the main body 7 and formed in a box body 1 in the direction of protruding from the through-hole 5, and which is arranged in the storage part 6 in such a manner as to be freely movable between a position to be latched to the latching part 8, and a position not to be latched thereto; and a latch member 12 which includes an operation part 11 continuously provided in the latch part 10 and extended out toward the opening 3. The latch lock is also provided with a locking member 15 comprising: a locking part 13 which can be subjected to a turning operation from the front side of the main body 7; and a cover part 14 which is continuously provided in the locking part 13 and which can be freely turned between positions to cover and not to cover the operation part 11 in the state of facing the opening 3.
