PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent-based dispersion of carbon black and an organic pigment, having excellent dispersibility and storage stability without using a dispersing resin. SOLUTION: The method for producing the dispersion of the carbon black and the organic pigment comprises allowing the surfaces of the carbon black and the organic pigment to adsorb an organic coloring matter derivative having an acidic functional group, or a triazine derivative having an acidic functional group in the presence of a base in an organic solvent having≥15 dielectric constant.
