PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape cutter having an auxiliary device allowing the end of an adhesive tape to be easily folded even with one hand as the stuck adhesive tape can be easily separated if a non-adhesive part is provided at one end of the adhesive tape. SOLUTION: A separating means 3 is located between a tape roll 1 and a tape cutting edge 2. The adhesive tape 4 is pulled into a position shown by 5 and cut with the cutting edge 2. Without the separating means 3, the leading end of the tape 4 pulled out of the tape roll 1 adheres to the cutting edge 2. The separating means 3 presses the intermediate position of the tape 4 adhering to the cutting edge 2, to separate the end part of the tape from the cutting edge 2 and to hold it in a state shown by 6 with the intermediate position left adhering. When the end of the tape 4 is in a floating state as shown by 6, the end of the tape 4 can be easily held even with one hand and folded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
