The convertible motorcar has a seat cushion (18) which in the region of its front end is vertically pivotable around an axis (A) extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle so that in the swung up position it is located upright behind the front seats (2). A windbreak (30) is attached to the seat cushion in such a way that it is movable from its neutral position integrated in the seat cushion into an in-use position in which it protrudes vertically from the swung-up seat cushion beyond the backrest (14) of at least one front seat.
