Metal door has a metal panel (5) with a rim (6) around its edge and inner insulating material (4) and optionally a second panel (3) enclosing space for the insulating material. They are made of parts(1) having F-shaped cross-sections placed around the panel and which combine with the outer rim whereby one of them is decorated with ornamental panelling (2) contained by the sections. Their edge ends in an opening (7) formed by two parallel panels of the F-shaped sections facing towards the inside of the door. The parts are fixed to the door panel using detachable means, enabling the decoration to be changed.
