<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for hardly generating heat caused by friction by hardly generating abnormal noise by self-excited vibration of a retainer. <P>SOLUTION: An angular ball bearing is equipped with an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, a plurality of rolling elements 3 rotatably arranged between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2, and a retainer 4 for retaining a plurality of rolling elements 3 between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2. The retainer 4 is made of a resin material such as phenolic resin.
