<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester film not producing insoluble matter of cellulose ester by a simple method, reduced in flaw and trouble and especially reduced in the foreign matter trouble caused by the flocculation of fine particles, its manufacturing method, a polarizing plate and a display device, further the cellulose ester film reduced in the irregularity of retardation values Ro and Rt at the time of stretching of the cellulose ester film and excellent in winding shape at the time of taking-up of a wide thin film. <P>SOLUTION: Cellulose ester wetted with a solvent and a crushed material obtained by crushing a material based on the cellulose ester wetted with the solvent are successively charged in the solvent to be dissolved therein and the obtained cellulose ester is used to manufacture the cellulose ester film by a solution casting method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
