<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide three-dimensional configuration solar cell and a module which has high photoelectric conversion efficiency and low directivity to the direction of the incidence of a solar cell, is capable of generating high power over long time in the daytime, excellent in weathering resistance, and can be manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of spherical photoelectric conversion devices 2 having spherical euphotic sides are arranged in a solid-core light focusing member 3 comprising a material transparent to the light of a wavelength of at least a portion of a solar cell and having a convexed curved surface convexed toward the outside. The matrix connection of the plurality of spherical photoelectric conversion devices 2 is made at series parallel. The hemispherical light focusing member 3 comprises either of epoxide resin and silicon resin. A glass epoxy substrate 5 is incorporated in an equatorial plane. The plurality of spherical photoelectric conversion devices 2 are electrically connected with cooper patterns 6 via copper wires 7. Since the refractive index of the light focusing member 3 is large, photoelectric conversion efficiency can be raised by optical confinement action.
