<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually running type lifter capable of easily making linear longitudinal movement and/or lateral movement without being swung and conducting the moving manipulation for steering etc. easily with a light touch. <P>SOLUTION: The manually running type lifter has a body 1 fitted with a load table 10 able to rise and fall, a pair of left and right front wheels 40, and one rear wheel 60. The wheels are arranged capable of idling round the wheel axles 43a and 68a intersecting vertically directed axes relative to wheel supports 42 and 67 rotatable round vertically directed axes 42a and 67a relative to the body side, and their directions are made changeable through operating levers 45 and 72 to turn interlocking with the wheel supports. At least the rear wheel can be turned steering through the operating levers between two positions. The wheels can be turned in steering to the left and right directly under the vertically directed axes, and the front-rear running including turning the head can be performed easily without being swung owing to less frictional resistance, and the moving manipulation such as turning the head can be conducted easily with a light touch. Further it is possible to perform the linear longitudinal running easily and also to easily perform running in a narrow space or stopping the fixed position (steady attitude) of the loading/unloading works to/from the rear body of a truck. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
