<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including two or more power-saving modes that informs a user to which of power-saving modes a power-saving mode shifted when a power-saving key is operated goes during a stable standby state. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having e.g., a pre-heat mode and a sleep mode as the power-saving modes, display of an LED built in the power-saving key is made different between the case of being shifted to the pre-heat mode when the power-saving key is operated in the stable standby state and the case of being shifted to the sleep mode when the power-saving key is operated in the stable standby state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
