<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid inflater having improved ignitability of a gas generator. <P>SOLUTION: A combustion chamber housing 40 storing the gas generator 41 is disposed in a cylindrical housing 11 filled with helium, and is communicated with an ignitor housing 20 via a first rupture disk 50. The diameter of the first rupture disk 50 is substantially equal to the inner diameter of the combustion chamber housing 40, so that ignition energy from the ignitor 22 efficiently spreads into the combustion chamber housing 40, and the ignitability is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
