PREDISTORTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a predistorter provided at a prestage of an amplifier with a function compensating for a distortion occurring in the amplifier when an objective signal is amplified in which nonlinear distortion due to memory effect occurring in the amplifier is compensated.

SOLUTION: Means 2-7 for creating distortion signal for predistortion create a distortion signal for predistortion composed of odd order signal components of a signal to be amplified. A delay time difference adjusting means 1 adjusts the delay time difference between the signal to be amplified and the distortion signal for predistortion such that memory effect occurring in the amplifier is reduced. A means 8 for imparting distortion signal for predistortion imparts a distortion signal for predistortion to a signal to be amplified in such a mode as the delay time difference is adjusted.
