<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variety of services by allowing only a specified person to access a Web site. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication system 1 issues a card in which a variety of information handed to a customer at the time of check-in and uses a card issue controller 2 connectable to a Web server 3 on the Internet. At the time of connection to the Web server 3 on the Internet, an authentication card 6 which stores specified authentication information is used. The card issue controller 2 reads the authentication information in the authentication card 6 at the time of Internet connection to the Web server 3 to transmit it to the Web server 3, while the Web server 3 processes the authentication information for the authentication card 6 to be transmitted from the card issue controller 2 and provides services in accordance with a request content from the card issue controller 2 when the authentication has succeeded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
