<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface technology whereby a conversion curve is reflected in real time when a slider bar is operated and further how a direct adjustment result of an index axis give effect on the lightness or the like can be objectively grasped by revising a state of the slider bar on the basis of a result of a direct revision of the index axis for defining the conversion curve. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus displays a window 200 including: a prescribed display area 250 on which the conversion curve denoting a relation of an output pixel value with respect to an input pixel value is displayed; and the slider bar 260 (or 270). The conversion curve in the display area 250 is adjusted by using a knob 260a of the slider 260. Further, the conversion curve can be adjusted by revising a position of one of a plurality of index axes for defining the conversion curve in the display area 250. In the case of adjusting the conversion curve through the revision of the position of the index axis, a state of the slider bar 260 is also updated on the basis of the conversion curve after the adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
