POSITIVE ELECTRODE MIX FOR ALKALINE BATTERY AND ALKALINE BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pulse discharge performance with a structure suitable for reducing a cost while securing discharge capacity above a certain value by effectively reducing internal resistance of the alkaline battery without dropping a content ratio of manganese dioxide too much. SOLUTION: The ratio of graphite to manganese dioxide is set to 1/25-1/15; the ratio of expanded graphite in the graphite is set less than 25 wt.% of the total graphite quantity; a mix material 211 having the above mixture composition is quantitatively filled in an insulating cylinder 51 having an inside diameter of 23 mm at a thickness of 10 mm; its thickness direction is sandwiched between a pair of resistance measuring electrodes 52 and 53; and specific electric resistance measured in pressingly compressing it with a load of 100 kg/cm2is set below 0.4Ω.
