PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-freezing system using electricity generated by utilizing a water flow of a water system in the piping of an aqueduct or piping laid along a bridge. SOLUTION: The anti-freezing system comprises a casing 2 connected to a water pipe 1, a shaft bearing 2C fitted to the casing 2 to reach the inside of the casing 2, a shaft 4 inserted through the shaft bearing 2C to be rotatable, a propeller 3 fitted to the front end of the shaft 4 in the casing 2, projecting parts 2A, 2B which are fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the casing 2 at the upstream side and the downstream side of the propeller 3, respectively, to regulate a water flow direction to intersect with the extension direction of the propeller 3, and a power generator 5 generating electricity by the rotation of the shaft 4. A heater 10 is activated by using the electricity generated by the power generator 5 to prevent the freeze of the water pipe 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
