PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for cakes capable of simply erecting and forming a restricting part for restricting a movement in the horizontal direction of the cakes in a container with a peripheral wall. SOLUTION: In the tray 1 which is stored in a container 2 with the peripheral wall 7 erected from a bottom plate 4 of a polygonal shape in plan view for placing the cakes K on a placing space 1a at the central part formed into an approximately same polygonal shape, supporting sides 12 extended outward from adjoining sides 8 and 8 of a corner part of the polygon are provided. The restricting part 5 for restricting the movement in the horizontal direction of the cakes K is formed by bringing the supporting sides 12 into contact with the inner peripheral face of the peripheral wall 7 of the corner part and supporting them by inward inclining downward under a condition where the tray is stored.
