PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid spout plug for a container in which a lid sealingly closing a spout port is engaged with an engagement part arranged at a supporting cylinder of the liquid spout plug so as to prohibit itself becoming a hindrance against pouring of the stored liquid when the liquid spout plug is opened and the stored liquid is discharged. SOLUTION: This liquid spout plug comprises a fixing cylinder and a supporting cylinder to which a communication pipe and a pouring cylinder are fitted and inserted, and this liquid spout plug is fixed to a liquid flowing-out cylinder of a container. A flexible lid supporting plate having the lid for sealing the pouring cylinder arranged at its extremity end is cooperatively arranged at the supporting cylinder. A side of the lid supporting plate facing against the supporting cylinder and a top wall of the lid member are provided with engagement sections, and when the liquid is poured out, the lid member is engaged with the engagement section arranged at a side of the lid supporting plate facing against the supporting cylinder.
