Inlet compressor for a combustion engine comprises a compressor wheel (4) in an axial inlet channel with an additional radial channel (20). Actuators (30) operate flow-adjusting blocking devices (22,28) and the blocking devices are operated simultaneously in common but in opposite senses in enlarging or diminishing the air openings. An independent claim is also included for an exhaust gas turbocharger comprising the above compressor.
