<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell or separator, which secure sealability, while suppressing the size of a laminating direction. <P>SOLUTION: Communication holes such as a supply opening 33 and the like, which penetrate separators 23 and 24 in the thickness direction, are disposed outside gas sealing members 25 and 26 of each separators 23 and 24 of fuel cells 21. Penetration passages 43, which penetrate the separators 23 in their thickness directions, and connect fuel gas communication holes with the fuel gas flow passages 27 through between the fuel cells 21 to the separators 23, are formed. And in the separators 24 of another side, the oxidizer gas communication passages, which connect the oxidant gas communication hole and the oxidant gas flow passages, are formed in the thickness directions of the separators 24, bypassing the gas sealing members 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
