<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup and an optical disk unit which can realize improvement in at least either of productivity and work efficiency or optical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup is provided with: a light source of emitting a plurality of luminous fluxes different from one another in wavelength; a connection base for holding the light source; an optical member held on the connection base; and a light receiving element held on the connection base. A through-hole is provided in the connection base, the the light source and the optical member are held on the connection base via the through-hole, a luminous flux emitted from the light source is passed through the through-hole to enter the optical member, emitted from the optical member to the outside, and the light made incident on the optical member from the outside is made incident through the optical member on the light receiving element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
