摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dried product of the Shochu lees which is easy to handle, and a method of simply obtaining the same in high yield. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the dried product of the Shochu lees comprises firstly passing the waste Shochu liquor (Shochu lees) by-produced in producing various types of distilled spirits including sweet potato Shochu through a sieve of about 5-6 meshes to remove the solid content such as unfermented long fibers, then removing unfermented short fibers with a sieve of about 20-24 meshes, and thereafter adding about 3-7 wt.% dextrin to the liquid portion of the Shochu lees from which the solid content has been removed to dissolve it therein, and subjecting the resulting liquid to spray drying. The yield of the dried product of the Shochu lees is &ge;90%. The powdered dried product thus obtained contains a large amount of various types of amino acids and can be used directly or as a bulk powder in drugs, food materials, food additives, health supplements, feeds, feed additives, animal drugs, animal health supplements and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
