<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal wherein a user can operate a sub operation section provided to a side face of a housing even when the user uses either of right and left hands to hold the housing. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal includes: the housing having a front side and two side faces adjacent to the front side and a communicatively connecting hole for being penetrated between the two side faces; a first sub operation section located in the communicatively connecting hole opened to one of the two side faces and for executing a function when the first sub operation section is operated; a second sub operation section located in the communicatively connecting hole opened to the other of the two side faces and for executing a function when the second sub operation section is operated; a coupling shaft for coupling the first and second sub operation sections so as to contain the first sub operation section into the communicatively connecting hole when the second sub operation section is projected from the other side face; and a stopper mechanism for restricting the movement of the coupling shaft in the communicatively connecting hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
