PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera device installed in a protection cabinet attached at an installation components such as a strut stood on the ground or a wall of a building, having a surveillance camera and a monitoring unit for monitoring an image photographed by the surveillance camera via the Internet, and being equipped with excellent installation workability since a horizontal turn axis of the surveillance camera always turns to the perpendicular direction with the self-weight of the surveillance camera because the surveillance camera is suspended while permitting free tilting perpendicular to the protection cabinet by the self-weight according to a universal joint mechanism. SOLUTION: The surveillance camera device according to the invention is installed at an installation components such as a strut stood on the ground or a wall of a building, and accommodating horizontal turn operation possible surveillance camera 1 within a protection cabinet 2, and comprises a universal joint mechanism 3 capable of suspending the surveillance camera 1 in the status of permitting free tilting perpendicular to the protection cabinet by the self-weight.
