PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency converter circuit and a frequency characteristics correcting method which allows the circuit scale to be reduced without executing a special control. SOLUTION: The frequency converter circuit comprises an equalizer circuit 22 for equalizing the frequency characteristics with input signals, for executing the frequency conversion and the input of corrected signals outputted from a frequency characteristics corrector circuit 3 for correcting the frequency characteristics and a temperature characteristics corrector circuit 4; and a mixer 23 for mixing output signals of the equalizer circuit 22 with output signals of a synthesizer circuit 1.
