PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein higher harmonic distortion is caused by PWM in a full digital audio amplifier which has digital signals as the input. SOLUTION: The higher harmonic distortions generated by PWM are predicted in advance, and PWM is performed, after higher harmonic distortion components have been removed from an original signal so that the higher harmonic distortions caused by PWM are cancelled out. As a means of forecast the higher harmonic distortions, a linear combination of the product of signals indicating the first and the second time differentiated signals of consecutive time signals, corresponding to the original input signals and their input signals.
