PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning and conveying device capable of stably conveying and moving various sizes of batteries. SOLUTION: This device comprises a rotary base 11 having a plurality of grooves extending to the central direction; a rotating and driving means 21 for rotating the rotary base; and a plurality of fastening chucks attached on the rotary base, receiving the can type battery 13 in the groove and pressing to the side surface thereof to fasten it when being moved to a first position by rotation, and releasing the can type battery from the side surface of the groove when coming off the first position and reaching a second position by rotation of the rotary base.
