PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in displacement amount between mutual layers formed on each of two substrates in a display device which displays a predetermined image, by mutually facing the two substrates on each of which an electrode layer and other layers are formed. SOLUTION: On a front substrate of a plasma display device as the display device, a first alignment marker 10 is formed in the same layer as a black dielectric layer, and a second alignment marker 11 is formed in the same layer as a bus electrode layer. The first alignment maker 10 consists of a line, extending in a first direction and the second alignment marker 11 consists of a line extending in a second direction, orthogonal to the first direction. A direction, to which the black dielectric layer which is the same layer as that of the first alignment marker 10 extends, is selected as the first direction here.
