PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding auxiliary device for a printer capable of preventing the occurrence of trouble even if setting a large quantity of paper by mounting a movable auxiliary paper feeding receiving box and an auxiliary hanging implement to prevent trouble such as paper jamming in a printer. SOLUTION: The auxiliary paper feeding receiving box 5 is movably fitted to the auxiliary hanging means 6 mounted to a paper feeding receiving part 2 of a printer body. In the auxiliary paper feeding receiving box, outward projecting movable shafts 8 are formed at facing side frames 7. The auxiliary hanging implement is provided with facing support side pieces 9, and engaging grooves 10 are formed at the upper ends of the support side pieces 9.
